Digital Layout

This layout is for a challenge at FH2S. I hadn't done a digital layout in a long time so I decided to go ahead and do one.

Just using up my stash since I needed some more "hi" cards.

Materials used: Studio G stamps, Heidi Swapp tape, American Craft Metropolitan paper and not sure who make the card base. Scallop circle cut on the Silhouette using American Craft paper.

Materials used: Cosmo Cricket Cogs paper and journaling cards, brads, quickutz die cuts(scalloped border, button, nameplate, swirl), Heidi Swapp Clear Extras, stickers, pop dots, chipboard. The journaling card is raised on pop dots and some of the die cuts are are were cut out of chipboard and covered with pattern paper

I just love how these cards turned out.

I used: Cosmo Cricket Halfway Cafe paper and journaling cards, Quickutz star die cuts, American Crafts rubons, stickers, ribbon, cardstock, Autumn Leaves stamps and brads.

Here is my decorated magpie tin. Seeing that I can't grow anything, I am guaranteed to not kill these. I also found that the magpie tin makes a great "tripod" for my camera when taking photos of my cards and other projects.


My card for the swap - yes Anna I have one for you. I have been on a "use up my stash kick". On this card I used some of my Heidi Swapp tape and metal rimmed tags. All the diecuts are quickutz.

It has been awhile

Here are some gifts that I made for the boys teacher as an end of the year thank you. We had two wonderful teachers this year.

I wanted make something small for the teachers that I know that they could use. For one teacher I made this altered paint can filled it with foam stickers (the teacher calls them smartie stickers and the kids love getting them - so I decided to restock her for next year). The flowers are attached to pencils covered in green paper. I figured she could always use pencils and I needed stems.

I wanted to take a picture of this before I wrapped it along with the card, but of course I forgot and the card was inside the package.





My older son told me that his teacher would give them treats every once in awhile for getting correct answers, so I figured I would make her a jar filled with smarties instead of the bag she uses. For the bear I actually used my silhouette and cut out a paper piecing pattern and pieced it together.



Here is one of the cards I made. (The other card said #1 teacher also and it was placed on a chalkboard - I really liked how that one turned out and wished I had taken a picture.)
