I used the rusty truck stamp, my prisma color pencils, spellbinders die, and not sure what paper I used - I am thinking it might be Heidi Swapp.



I used the rusty truck stamp, gear background stamp, prisma color pencils and a birthday stamp. For this one I stamped the truck with brown ink instead of black.
I used the rusty truck stamp, my prisma color pencils, the star is a studio g sticker that I got at joanns, and a birthday stamp. Not sure if I like the truck better in brown or blue.

My goal for this year are man/boy/teen stamps and I do think these fit that description - just love the truck stamp.

altered tissue box

I have had this wood tissue box cover for years. I had painted flowers on it, but was tired of it so I altered with my sweet Magnolia Tilda stamps. I made my own flowers with dies, punches, silhouette, and crocheted my own. Colored all my images in with prismacolor pencils.

misc. altered projects

I got this plan wood frame at Hobby Lobby a couple of years ago for .35 cents. I painted and crackled the frame, die cut flowers, bird, distress everything and made my own swirl from pearls and rhinestones.

I was inspired by this video by mybutterflykisses12. Painted and distressed the wood plaque. Made my own flowers and one of the butterflies. The brown butterfly is recollections. Stamp is Tilda in France by Magnolia.



I got the dress form at Micheal's on clearance for $1. It didn't turn out the way I wanted it to but it is okay. I plan on using it to hold my 12 tags of 2012.

altered snow globe

I had a snow globe left from Christmas and was inspired by this Karen - JBLdyScrapper48 on youtube. She has some other really cool snow globes that she has done. I am searching for a small seagull sitting on wood pillars for another snow globe.

I have used shells that boys and I have collected through the years at the beach used.

12 tags of 2012

I am going to do my best to try and do all of Tim Holtz's 12 tags of 2012.


February's tag: cupid cut on silhouette, heart was from cupcake picks that I got at Walmart after Valentine's day on clearance - removed the pick and it works really well. Tim Holtz stickers and stickles, used distress ink on the seam binding to make it match.

March tag - I used ultra thick embossing powder on the butterflies. Printed some woodgrain on the tag, stamped with some butterflies, rolled flower on the bottom corner (I didn't have any of the metal flowers but I really like them and will have to go and pick some up).
